Daniel Hukill
Daniel L. Hukill was born in 1980 in Fontana, California. He completed his BA in painting at Auburn University in 2003. From there he moved to Portland, Oregon. At that time, he focused mainly on illustrations and portraits. During his time in Portland, he was represented by the Beppu Wiarda Gallery. After several years in Portland, in 2011 he relocated back to California. Hukill has shown at CEART (Ensenada, Mexico), Pain Sugar Gallery, and Laguna Art Gallery & Studios to name a few. He is also represented in the permanent collection of Riverside Art Museum. Some of his works have been seen on MTV, “Restored” on HGTV, and “The Time Traveler’s Wife” (tv series) airing in Spring 2022. Many of his pieces can be found in public and private art collections throughout the United States and abroad.
Although he predominantly works in the medium of oil painting on paper, his more recent works have expanded to ceramics, large scale abstract paintings, and sculptural installations.
