A hand blown art glass vase by Michael Robinson who was at the forefront of the Canadian Glass movement throughout the 1970s. This vase has pulled interior glass layers of that show off his delicate feathering technique. The purplish eggplant colors of the vase are striating throughout with subtle delicacy. The glass has bubbles and dimples from the glass pulls all as part of the organic form. Michael Robinson (1948-2010) was a Native Canadian artist and glassblower whose works were exhibited throughout Canada as well as in the US, Switzerland and Germany. His works received many awards and are in the permanent collections of numerous Museums. He signed his works 'Two Rivers' which was the name of his Studio in Keene, Ontario.
